South Kohola beaches are less than 15 minutes from most homes in Kilohana Kai.
Kilohana Kai is located up Waikoloa Road just off Highway 19 or Queen Ka’ahumanu Hwy. Kilohana Kai is located past of the village toward the far north end of the subdivision off Haena St. The Waikoloa elementary and middle school is located in the community, where the majority of residents are assigned. High school students attend the Kealakehe high school and are typically bused to school from the entrance of Waikoloa Village.
Homeowner association fees are approximately $480 per year but be sure to check with current listings as these fees can change over time. These dues cover all the amenities of Waikoloa Village as well as management and road maintenance. Waikoloa Village is serviced by a private water company. There are no dues for Kilohana Kai – just the Waikoloa Village fees.
One of the best things about living in Kilohana Kai is the access to shops and restaurants right within the subdivision. Not only do many homes have gorgeous views of the hillside and the ocean but shopping and restaurants as well as lots of recreational facilities and amenities are all within walking distance from most homes.
